Witch King

I made this one shortly after that last Nazgul. Since I used graphite on this one and charcoal on the last one, it made realize that I prefer graphite. I liked how the head turned out but the rest turned out a little strange, especially the sleeves and cloak.

  1. Ok, so I finaly have time to go over more of your work... And I must say that all of your work is fabulous!! You have a keen eye to pick up on proportions, and that makes your shading even better!!

I love this one, the whole picture is correctly proportioned, and that is something that's very, VERY hard for most people to do. Well done!!
Nice values of shading, you used many different hardness of strokes to make the Nazgul appear 3 dimentional. My hat goes off to you!

  2. I really liked how the shading turned out on the head too.

I also agree that the proportions turned out nicely, but that's still something I need to work on, especially because I'd eventually like to learn to draw faces.

    Thank you for commenting!
